Northbrook Action Baseball Summer league is now accepting registrations!

“keep on swinging this summer!” 

May 1, 2025 

Northbrook Action Baseball Summer League is now accepting registrations! Teams will consist of boys and/or girls. The four-week season includes two games played each week beginning the week of July 7, 2025 and concluding by August 1, 2025. 

Major 2 division teams feature the experience of the boys and girls pitching in an organized league! All players will receive a Northbrook Action Baseball t-shirt and hat. 

Moms and Dads: We encourage you to complete the online registration form at northbrookactionbaseball.org to expedite the formation of teams. Team entries are permitted. 

If you are interested in coaching this summer league, please check the box on your child’s registration. 

Coaches: Please email a list of requested team players to:  northbrookactionbaseball@gmail.com
All registration forms must be in by the due date: June 1, 2025 to guarantee a spot. 

Please note:  In the event that there are not enough players for a specific division, you will receive a complete refund.

Northbrook Symphony ORchestra 2024-2025 Concert Season

The Northbrook Symphony Orchestra (“NSO”) is excited to announce its 2024-2025 concert season under Music Director Mina Zikri’s leadership.

The subscription season began October 27 and concludes June 8. All concerts take place Sundays at 4 p.m. at Glenbrook North High School’s Sheely Center for the Performing Arts.

How do I get my event in the Virtual Backpack?

To be included in the District’s Virtual Backpack, an organization must be a local tax-supported community agency, a not-for-profit community organization offering sports and recreation program options for students, or a charitable group which has a current service learning connection or curricular connection with our schools or class groups.

Organizations that meet the criteria noted in paragraph two may include flyers that promote their services, activities, or events and a web link to their respective websites. Flyers must:

  • Be in PDF format 
  • Not refer to fundraisers unless the program is sponsored by District #31 
  • Not conflict with public tax supported efforts already in effect
